Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Draft for legal review. This policy is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles and will be checked by a lawyer before launch.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, name and role (organiser or sponsor).
  • Organisation or business details you enter, such as name, ABN, website and location.
  • Event listings, packages, images and documents you upload.
  • Messages and sponsorship requests sent through the site.
  • Basic usage information, such as listing views and prospectus downloads, so organisers can see how their listing is doing.
  • Billing records for paid plans. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.

How we use it

  • To run the marketplace: show listings, deliver requests and messages, and send the emails you ask for.
  • To check listings and keep the site safe from spam and misuse.
  • To improve the site, using totals rather than individual tracking.

What we share

Organisers' email addresses and phone numbers are never shown publicly. When a sponsor sends a request, the organiser sees the sponsor's business name, industry and website; neither side sees the other's email or phone unless they type it in a message. We use trusted providers to run the service (hosting, email delivery and Stripe for payments). We don't sell personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the site secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

  • Change which emails you get in your settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any alert.
  • Download a copy of your data, or delete your account, from your settings page.
  • Ask us to correct or access your information at any time.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our hosting provider and protected with encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. Uploaded images are re-processed to remove hidden metadata such as location.
